Travelling in South East Asia is not a wilderness experience. There are little villages everywhere and everyone will be happy to help you. I rode for two days in Cambodia with a slow leak in a tyre requiring it to be pumped up every hour or so. There was no difficulty in finding a place on the roadside to do that. I paid 25 cents every time.

Food (local) and cold and hot drinks are everywhere. And things are very cheap. A bottle of water is just 25 cents out of the main cities.
